1.1 League Mission

This league exists to provide competitive fantasy football entertainment among friends and acquaintances, with monetary stakes to ensure serious participation and engagement.

1.2 League Authority

These by-laws supersede all platform default settings and serve as the ultimate authority for league governance. Where conflicts exist between platform rules and these by-laws, these by-laws shall govern.

1.3 Season Definition

The league season begins with the draft and concludes with the final championship game and prize distribution.

2.1 Commissioner Authority

Jason Schmitt shall serve as League Commissioner with the following powers and responsibilities:

• Day-to-day league administration
• Transaction processing and lineup enforcement
• Initial dispute resolution
• Platform management and technical support
• Communication of league announcements

2.2 Commissioner Limitations

The Commissioner may not:

• Veto trades involving their own team without Executive Committee approval
• Change scoring settings mid-season
• Modify by-laws without proper voting procedures
• Process transactions that provide unfair advantage to any specific team

2.3 Executive Committee

An Executive Committee consisting of three (3) non-commissioner members shall be elected annually to:

• Review disputed trades and decisions
• Resolve conflicts involving the Commissioner

2.4 Succession Planning

In the event the Commissioner becomes unavailable, the Executive Committee shall appoint an interim Commissioner to complete the season.

3.2 Member Responsibilities

Each member shall:

Members may be removed by two-thirds (2/3) vote of all other members for:

5.7 Stat Corrections

Official NFL stat corrections will be applied if announced before 6:00 AM ET on the Thursday following the game week. Corrections announced after this deadline will not be applied retroactively.

Each team roster shall consist of:

• 1 W/R/T Flex

6.2 Starting Lineup Requirements

All teams must submit valid starting lineups by the deadline for each position. Failure to do so will result in the platform's automatic selection.

Teams that fail to set a valid starting lineup will receive a warning. After two violations, the Commissioner may set optimal lineups for that team for the remainder of the season.

Draft pick trading is NOT permitted in this league.

8.1 Weekly Matchups

Matchups are determined by the Yahoo Sports platform algorithm and cannot be manually adjusted except in cases of technical error.

8.2 Lineup Deadlines

All lineup changes must be made before the scheduled kickoff time of the individual player's game.

8.3 Weekly Awards

The league distributes weekly awards throughout the regular season (Weeks 1–14) at $9 per week, totaling $126. Specific criteria are set by the Executive Committee and announced by the Commissioner prior to each league year, recognizing statistical achievements, performances, or entertaining league moments.

9.1 Trade Approval Process

• All trades reviewed for a 48-hour period following acceptance
• Trades vetoed only for clear collusion or a team clearly not attempting to improve

9.2 Trade Deadline

12.3 Playoff Reseeding

Reseeding is enabled. After each round, the lowest remaining seed faces the highest remaining seed.

12.4 Playoff Tiebreakers

In tied playoff matchups, the higher seed automatically advances.

12.5 Eliminated Team Restrictions

Eliminated teams have rosters locked and may not make waiver claims or free agent acquisitions during the playoff period.

12.6 Playoff Roster Management

• No max limit on player acquisitions per week during playoffs
• Standard waiver/FA rules apply to remaining teams
• All other roster rules remain in effect

13.1 Regular Season Tiebreakers

Applied in order:

• Overall record (wins-losses)
• Total points scored during regular season
• Head-to-head record between tied teams
• Points scored in head-to-head matchups between tied teams

13.2 Playoff Tiebreakers

For playoff matchups ending in ties: higher playoff seed advances.

13.3 Tiebreaker Consistency

Tiebreakers cannot be changed during the season and must be clearly defined before Week 1.

14.1 Annual Determination

Each off-season, members vote on a punishment for the 12th-place team. It must be approved by a simple majority of all members.

14.2 Punishment Criteria

• Humiliating but not physically dangerous or illegal
• Completable within a reasonable timeframe (typically 6 months)
• No undue financial burden beyond normal league costs
• Documentable for league entertainment (photos/videos encouraged)

14.4 Completion Requirements

The last place team must complete the punishment within the timeframe set by the vote. Failure may result in: first violation — forfeiture of vote on next year's punishment plus mandatory makeup punishment; second violation — expulsion from the league.

14.5 Documentation & Verification

The last place finisher must provide adequate proof of completion as determined by league consensus. The Executive Committee verifies completion and may require additional evidence.

15.1 Acceptable Conduct

• Competitive trash talk is encouraged and expected
• Humor and banter are part of league culture
• Creative team names and roster moves are welcomed

17.1 Amendment Process
